As our nation reels from the deaths of George Floyd and Ahmaud Arbery and the subsequent protests, riots, looting, civil unrest, and general angst, I’ve been watching and gathering various resources on how to address justice, race, racism, and racial reconciliation from a Christian perspective. These are some of the things I have found most helpful. Some of these I agree with wholeheartedly. Others, I don’t fully agree with but found helpful in trying to understand various perspectives. I hope they can be of benefit to you as well.
*Note: I may add other resources to this page as I come across them.
Make sure you listen to all 4 parts of the EV Hill sermon below. It’s well worth your time.
These other videos aren’t Christian in nature, but make some good points worth listening to.
Here are links to other groups of resources which deal with these issues.
Articles I’ve written:
- Diversity, Unity, and the Bible
- What Does the Bible Say About Equity vs. Equality
- How Should Christians Think About Critical Theory?
This next one is an article that I wrote for the Ethics and Religious Liberty Commission which compiled all of their resources of articles, videos, conferences, classes, books, etc. on racial reconciliation.
This next link goes to the MLK50 Conference, which was jointly held between the Ethics and Religious Liberty Commission and the Gospel Coalition to celebrate Martin Luther King’s Legacy and address racial reconciliation in the church.
